Mountain Biking and Road Cycling on Exmoor
Mountain Biking
Exmoor is a fantastic location for Mountain Biking with over 400 miles of bridleways. It has some of the most challenging and spectacular scenery in the country.
As well as the endless bridleways, Exmoor also has some fantastic downhill courses such as Combe Sydenham and Triscombe with NACC events taking place throughout the year.
Exmoor’s growing popularity with mountain bikers has sparked off events such as the Exmoor Explorer Mountain Bike Marathon and the British Heat Foundation Randone.
Exmoor National Park Authority offers a graded cycle map to help you plan your visit and is available to buy online. They also provide information on codes of conduct for cyclists.
Road Cycling
Following in the footsteps of the professionals, the Tour of Britain has passed our doorstep for the last few years, demonstrating the standard of road cycling on Exmoor.
Exmoor also has its own permanent 60 mile Tour of Britain route - we are situated right in the middle, the perfect rest and refuel stop!
